Rockets Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
Tracy McGrady felt a sharp pain shoot through his left knee Monday
night, the knee that had gone under the knife in May and had given him
so much trouble ever since, and just got sick of it. He might be out
for a while.
He had long since accepted that he would not be at full strength
until well into the season and had gone along with the plan of playing
his way back. He struggled badly at times but kept playing, with just
enough strong outings to renew his faith.
Then he limped to the bench and never returned to the floor.
Later, he openly wondered when he would be back, frustrated by being
so limited.
"My knee gave out on me," McGrady said.

One-sided victories seldom have as many story lines as the Houston Rockets' 94-82 rough-and-tumble win over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
