  • Bears Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

Bears coach Lovie Smith didn't have much good to say about Sunday's 37-3 loss to the Packers, but he was ready to put it in the past.

"It goes without saying that we weren't ready to play the football game this past week," Smith said. "(But) you have to move on, and that's what we've done. We have a six-game season starting up right now."

Smith's players didn't feel any better about their performance after watching the film Monday morning, but they, too, were anxious to look ahead.

"We saw a lot of them kicking our butts," six-time Pro Bowl center Olin Kreutz said. "We've got to get that corrected. We're really frustrated. We didn't do much (on offense) to help our team."

For the second straight week the offense was saddled with poor field position.

  • Bears staggering after 37-3 pounding by Packers (AP)Kyle Orton was limping, and now, so are the rest of the Chicago Bears. Although the Bears apparently suffered no breaks or tears, a 37-3 loss at Green Bay on Sunday left them with one big bruise to the ego -- and left the NFC North race a muddled mess. "We know what's at stake, but you have to let this one hurt a couple days," center Olin Kreutz said Monday.

  • Orton, rest of Bears turn in pitiful performance (AP)The end came appropriately for Kyle Orton. Facing fourth-and-10 midway through the fourth quarter, the Bears quarterback simply dropped the ball. Orton bobbled a clean shotgun snap, losing it to Packers defensive end Jason Hunter who scooped up the ball and ran untouched for a touchdown in Green Bay's 37-3 victory on Sunday.

Hello, Ryan Grant. Goodbye, "Soldier Field North." Grant finally hit his stride -- and justified his big contract -- for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, rushing for 145 yards and a touchdown in a dominant 37-3 victory over the Chicago Bears. The win boosts the Packers (5-5) into a three-way tie with the Bears and Minnesota Vikings atop the muddled NFC North.

  • Bears QB Orton active, starts vs. Pack (AP)Chicago Bears quarterback Kyle Orton was active and started Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. • Bears feel passing tension on defense (AP)The passing insecurity Chicago Bears cornerback Corey Graham felt this week had little to do with the fact that he's just in his second season and lacks the resume of his accomplished teammates. Something else was making him uncomfortable. He wasn't alone, either. The Bears are getting picked apart by passes and they're about to head to Green Bay, where the Packers rarely hand the ball off.

  • Titans keep winning, Lions keep losing (AP) The status quo remained unchanged. The surging Tennessee Titans keep winning, and the listless Detroit Lions keep losing. Kerry Collins threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns, and Tennessee beat the Chicago Bears 21-14 Sunday to stay perfect through nine games -- despite rushing for just 20 yards, a franchise-low for a team that had been third in the league.

LenDale White and Chris Johnson were on their way to history -- the wrong kind, because they were running in reverse. Even though they kept losing yards, the Tennessee Titans refused to lose the game. Now, they're 9-0 despite one of the worst rushing performances in franchise history: just 20 yards on the ground.

  • Orton practices, but start vs. Tenn. unlikely (AP)Chicago Bears quarterback Kyle Orton practiced Friday for the first time since getting injured, but an appearance in Sunday's game at Soldier Field against the unbeaten Tennessee Titans appears unlikely. Orton, who sprained his right ankle last Sunday against the Detroit Lions, was doubtful on the official injury report after working out Friday only during individual passing drills.
