Ducks Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
While he isn't a former Norris Trophy winner like teammates Scott Niedermayer and Chris Pronger, Francois Beauchemin played nearly as big a role for the Ducks before suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Friday night's 4-3, overtime loss to the visiting Nashville Predators. Rookie Brett Festerling, recalled from American League affiliate Iowa a day earlier, played 17 minutes, 42 seconds in his NHL debut, while veterans Bret Hedican, Kent Huskins and Steve Montador helped fill the huge void left by Beauchemin with a combined...
